Into every man's life an occasional chick flick must fall. Guys, you can avoid them most of the time, but sooner or later you're going to find yourself forced to sit through one if you have any hope of getting any later in the evening. And you can only watch "When Harry Met Sally" so many times.

You could do worse than Bridgett Jones Diary. It follows the life of Bridgett as she hunts for Mr. Right. We're lead back and forth between two men who take turns being the good guy and the schmuck. Bridgett is sometimes smart, sometimes gullible, and always fun to watch in action.

Unfortunately, there's no gratuitous nudity to pander to our interests, and this is very obviously a chick flick, but it manages to be somewhat entertaining without being sappy or syrupy.
