Update for World of Tanks: The Missing Manual
By Dave Hitt on Dec 24, 2013 in Writing
Version 1.5 of World of Tanks, The Missing Manual is now available. It contains about 20% more content than the first version, and has also been updated to reflect changes in the game.
The version number is now noted on the Intro page. If there’s no version number on your Intro page, you’ve got the old version. You should be able to turn AutoUpdate on and get it delivered to your Kindle automatically. However, the AutoUpdate feature on many Kindle devices has been broken for months. Amazon is “working on it.â€
If you bought the earlier version, and it’s not updating, send me an e-mail and I’ll send you the .mobi file, which you can copy to your Kindle via the USB cable.
Have you ever given consideration to Eve Online?

From what I’ve seen on Eve, it requires too much time commitment. I waste enough time on WoT as it is.

I’ve just bought it on Kindle…
I’m playing the Xbox version, so there are obviously some differences, but hopefully there’ll be a lot of relevant info in there.

If you find anything that is different in the Xbox version, other than the controls, please drop me a line. (I don’t have an XBox myself.)
I’m going to be releasing a new version of the manual in the next few days, that contains some new info, but is mostly an update to the game changes since the last update. There will be a note at the end of the Amazon description when that happens, and it should auto-update on your Kindle. But…sometimes the Kindle update is wonky, so if it doesn’t work, drop me an e-mail and I’ll send you the updated version.
